Our lab testing standard

A newsroom that writes about potency limits should publish its own numbers. Here is the standard the Shop holds itself to.

Every Batch, independently tested. No flower is listed until an outside laboratory has issued a certificate of analysis (COA) for its Batch. The product page links the full PDF.

The numbers on the page. THCA, delta-9 THC by dry weight, total terpenes and the leading terpenes appear on the product page itself, so readers do not have to dig through a PDF to compare.

Total THC, shown with its working. We calculate total THC as THCA multiplied by 0.877, plus delta-9 THC. The 0.877 factor accounts for the weight lost when THCA converts to THC. If the lab prints its own total, we show that too.

Why this figure is the story

Under the federal total-THC standard that takes effect on December 11, 2026, total THC, not delta-9 alone, decides whether flower is hemp. Most THCA flower sold today exceeds 0.3% on that measure. Our reporting on the rule explains what that means; the COA lets you check any Batch yourself.
